La corbeille ancienne

We found two baskets of this style, on seperate stands, at the first "grand deballage" (great unpacking) of the year which we took to be a sign.

This one, "la corbeille," so named for her pair of handles on either side, and the other "le panier", so named for her singular handle.

It's not everyday we find a basket of this age in such beautiful condition and we had to bring her home.

A piece to be used and displayed everyday.
