Le bougeoir à main ancien

We sourced this antique brass candlestick holder from one of our favourite sellers, who deals in 19th century French folk art.

Originally used as a "bougeoir à main passe- couloir," to light hallways long before there were bulbs, she dates back to the 18th century. 

With her beautiful curved handle, she holds standard sized candles, and will glow wherever you may carry her.
