Le petit pot à bouillon

These broth pots date back to the 19th century. 

Antique ironstone with metal lids, they were once used to prepare and store broth. 

We found this small one at a favourite Saturday morning brocante we love complete with her rare inner lid and had to bring her home. 

Just like before, she's glorious for storing broths and soups, but equally suited to storing dried goods in your pantry or tea leaves on your countertop.
